David Blow

Clinical Director

BVSc MRCVS

David graduated from Bristol University Veterinary School in 2002. Following 2 1/2 years working as a mixed practitioner, he decided to concentrate on small animal work and joined Chine House Veterinary Hospital in 2005. He enjoys all aspects of small animal work and has a particular interest in surgery – he gained an ESVPS general practitioner certificate in small animal surgery in 2008.

Craig Hunt

Clinical Director

BVetMed CertSAM DZooMed (Reptilian) MRCVS

Craig qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 1997 and proceeded to work in mixed-species practices before settling at Chine House Veterinary Hospital in November 2005. He obtained the RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Medicine in 2000 and the RCVS Certificate in Zoological Medicine in 2002. In 2013 he was awarded the RCVS Diploma in Zoo Medicine, one of only a small number of veterinary surgeons to achieve it in this country. In 2014 he was recognised as a specialist by the RCVS.

Martin Rudkin

Clinical Director

Martin graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, University of London in 1996 and joined Chine House in the August of that year. Martin has particular interests in small animal medicine and cardiology.

Rosie Thorpe

Senior Clinical Associate

BVSc MRCVS

Rosie qualified from Bristol University in 2007. She spent two years working in mixed practice in Lancashire before backpacking down the east coast of Australia. Rosie spent a really enjoyable year working and travelling in New Zealand before returning home to concentrate on small animal work.

Tamsin Thomas

Senior Clinical Associate

BVM&S PGCertSAS MRCVS

Tamsin qualified from Edinburgh University in 2002, Tamsin comes to us after working in busy small animal hospitals throughout her career. After spending 9 years in Hong Kong, she moved back to the UK and started studying for her surgery certificate. Whilst enjoying all aspects of general practice, Tamsin has a love of all things surgical – particularly fracture management and stifle surgery. She achieved her Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery status in 2017 after passing her surgery examinations with distinction.

Aga Mirowska

Veterinary Surgeon

MRCVS

Aga is originally from Poland and graduated from the Agricultural University of Wroclaw in 2006. She spent two years working in small animal practices in Poland, before moving over to the UK. Since then, she has worked in small animal hospitals until she joined the Chine House team in 2023.

Aga enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and has a particular interest in dermatology and small animal surgery. In her spare time, she colunteers for Cats Protection and is involved in all kinds of rescue activities.

Joe Kendall

Veterinary Surgeon

BVM BVS MRCVS

Jonathan graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 2004. He joined Chine House shortly afterwards and enjoys all aspects of equine veterinary work. Jonathan gained the RCVS Certificate in Equine Practice in 2012 and was added to The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons register of Advanced Veterinary Practitioners in 2015.

Alison Pagett

Veterinary Surgeon

Alison graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 1984. She joined Chine House in 1994 after 10 years working in small animal practice in Kent.

Millie Teale

Veterinary Surgeon

BVSc MRCVS

Millie graduated from the University of Bristol in the summer of 2025. She then started at chine house straight away before taking four months off to travel around Asia and Australia, which she loved. She’s now back working full time at Chine and enjoying all aspects of small animal general practice. 

Hannah Riley

Veterinary Surgeon

BVM BVS MRCVS

Hannah graduated from the University of Nottingham in December 2025 and immediately joined Chine House in 2026. She enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine especially surgery. Outside of work Hannah enjoys crafting, baking and going for long walks in the countryside.

Alicia Martinez Menacho

Veterinary Surgeon

MRCVS

Alicia (Ali) graduated at the University of Cordoba in 2008. She worked as a small animal vet in Spain until 2016, when the opportunity to work in a large charity veterinary hospital brought her to the UK.  After nearly 10 years there, she has joined Chine House, bringing with her a wealth of experience, including a further qualification in dermatology and a love of surgery.
