High-quality, 24-hour care for your pet

Our modern, RCVS-accredited veterinary hospital in Sileby, Leicestershire, is proud to provide high-quality care for your pet at all hours.

Experienced care you can count on

Our small animal veterinary surgeons have over 137 years of experience between them. They are supported by our head nurse and a large team of 21 compassionate, fully qualified and trainee veterinary nurses.

Our team has a wide range of surgical and medical interests, allowing us to offer an extensive range of in-house routine and referral services for small pets and exotics.

We also run our own 24-hour emergency service, with a Registered Veterinary Nurse on-site at all times to care for our inpatients.

Our excellent facilities

Our facilities for pets include:

  • A large reception with separate, quiet waiting areas for exotic pets, rabbits and cats.
  • Six spacious consulting rooms.
  • Three large preparation areas.
  • Six operating theatres.
  • A wide range of species-specific hospitalisation facilities.

Our hospitalisation facilities

Our hospital has separate kennels, a cattery, exotics and isolation wards.
The kennel room has two walk-in kennels, as well as 17 cages of various sizes to cater for all sizes of dogs.

Cats are housed in a separate, quiet, cattery area with eight cages, two of which can be opened up to double size to cater for larger cats, two cats together or just simply more space.

The pre-operative area has a walk-in kennel and plenty of caging (including two oxygen cages) to allow us to monitor pets as they come round from anaesthetic, and an incubator for gently warming hypothermic or high risk patients.

Species-specific hospitalisation

We have two separate exotics wards, allowing predatory and prey species to be housed separately. Housing is available for rabbits and other small mammals.

There are a variety of different-sized vivariums (with temperature, humidity and UV controls for reptiles), tortoise boxes and Perspex-fronted aviary caging. Large walk-in housing is also available for larger birds.

We also have a separate isolation ward for housing pets with potentially infectious diseases.

Referrals

We’re well-equipped to assist referring veterinary surgeons with small animal and exotic cases.
